Control ‘X’ referenced by the ControlToValidate property of ‘xValidator’ cannot be validated.
Surely the asp.net engine knows exactly why it can’t be validated, it’s just looking to piss me off today and won’t tell me. And why the hell doesn’t VS2005 know this and warn me, so I don’t have to compile, deploy, run the sucker?
